Are bath bombs safe?

Postby Jolly J » Wed Dec 27, 2017 11:02 pm

Hello everyone I got a bath bomb set from a family member for my birthday/Christmas. Are they safe to use while pregnant? I have never used them before I need advice please and thank you.

Yep my doctor recommends them. Most have ingredients on the side, just check those to make sure you are not allergic to anything in them. I make my own and use them almost every time I get in the bath. I'm just about 36 weeks.

I would say yes, essential oils are very good for relaxing and reducing stress. As long as the water isn't scorching hot you and bub will be just fine.

They should be fine, just make sure you pee after getting out of the bath. That'll clean out your urinary tract because bath bombs can cause UTI and yeast infections.

Eucalyptus is good when you have a stuffed nose or cold. Lavender is relaxing.

Do you use citric acid in your bath bombs, Krimzin? My daughter was gifted with a bath set...she loved the bath bombs. Used them up in three days. :-)

Neither have I, but my daughter loves them. I usually shower, much faster. :-)
