Contraceptive Pills

Postby Lala_ » Sun Jan 14, 2018 1:06 am

So I was thinking about starting to take the birth control pill , I've never took it before and I'm 24 years old. I'd like to know more about it, like what kind of effects it has and all...? Is it worth it? Is it a must? Any information would be appreciated.

Each person can have different side effects depending on the pill or contraception type used. With me I originally took ortho try-cyclin and it made me terribly moody. Upon conversation with my doctor I switched to a lower version and the moodiness disappeared. I've moved on to a different type of pill now where I get my period seasonally and only have spotting time to time. Side effects are listed with each type. It's easy to find the information online and even through Planned Parenthood. Also best to have the convo with your doctor.
