I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It all depends on what the reason for your loss was before. It's possible for the same thing to happen again, but more likely that your doctors will keep a close eye on you and will do anything they can to keep it from happening. Try not to stress it doesn't do any good and it doesn't help anyone especially you or the baby. Good luck I think you will be just fine.

Thank you for your reply I do not know the reson for my daughter born early she disnt have any other problem then her been very pram and her lungs wasn't able to do it she fought for 23days i just went into spontaneous Labour I was bleeding throughout the whole pregnancy but wasn't treated very good by the hospitals they basically told me at 21 weeks it's probably a late miscarage and refused me a scan so went home the following day as I have a 2 year old and havemt been able to talk to a doctor since it's a very hard thing to talk about xx

I'm very late responding....

17 years ago, I miscarried twins separately, 2 weeks apart. 10 years ago, I delivered a daughter at 20 weeks and she passed. Last year, at 22 weeks and after 14 hours of labor and hemorrhaging, my daughter passed and I had an emergency c-section. Last month, I had an emergency section just before 35 weeks. He's home with me now and doing better than ever expected.

Unfortunately, we don't know our futures. I know the pain of loss with no answers. There was no known reason my other children aren't here. Sometimes, things just turn around and sometimes, the path stays the same.

Hey I lost my son 2 months ago at 23 weeks. My water broke suddenly & the umbilical cord got wrapped around his neck during the birthing process. I was devastated & still am but about 2 days ago I went to the doctor & found out I'm pregnant again so soon. Trust me I understand how you feel because that's what I have been thinking since I found out. I don't want this to happen again but I'm going to put it all in gods hands & trust that he will let me carry my baby all the way this time. I think you should try again don't give up. The doctors will definitely watch you very closely next time.

Sorry for your loss. I have dealt with many losses and had two losses that I actually delivered. First baby girl at 22w6d she lived for roughly 6 hours. I had losses after that but finally my Dr said we're going to make sure you have a baby. After test they found out I had an incompetent cervix, a protein s deficiency and needed to use progesterone suppositories. This helped me to carry and now I have 3 beautiful girls

Wow that is a blessing sorry you had to go through so many losses. I hope I'm able to carry my baby full term this time. They mentioned to me that I might have an incompetent cervix.

I had my little girl at 25 weeks. I was in the hospital 2 days before they couldn't stop my contractions any more. She spent 107 days in the NICU. She just turned 2 this April.

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and had a cerclage at 23 weeks. My advice to you is to see a high risk specialist along with your ob. This is how I found out that my cervix was already starting to dilate, an incompetent cervix. I'm on progesterone suppositories and happy that I'm still pregnant.

I was extremely worried when I found out because I didn't want to have another preemie. Your ob makes a world of a difference.

Omg this made me feel a lot better. I did make an appointment with a high risk doctor.
